Sound starts with lots of sound.

 Today, A new chapter was started for the 8th Standard students. Since, some of friends from St. Thomas Training College heads back to their B.Ed Life 3rd Sem College activities, I have to Take their classes too.

So that, I have combined the two divisions of the 8th standard and started the class. Since it was a Sunday the attendance was a bit low than expected and compared to the usual days. But I just started the new topic Sound through making some sounds thorugh the meet. I was started playing a prayer song and then put some trending songs in the meet to make them clear about the source, medium and recievers of sound. Then I have moved to the next topics through a lot of video demonstration making a lot of sound and activates the students through a different set of examples of sources of sound.

The funniest part done in the meet was the introduction of the the topic Pitch.

I just taken a trending malayalam song and with help of an online app, i just increased and decreased the pitch. It was so humurous and engaging to the students and help them  to identify the feature and effect of pitch in one or other sound and identified a lot of sources which has low pitch and high pitch sounds. 

after the main session, I have discussed the answers of achievement test questions conducted yesterday.
