Innovative Model:- Friction Board

 Introduction

    Inovative model are interactive model designed by the teacher to make the concept mlearning in science more interesting and enhances the effectiveness of the learner. mostly rhe innovative model  are teacher made model which is based on multisensory appraoch and created from the creativity of the teacher.

    In the present context an illustrative model is made which has thew ability to illustrate different kind of friction to students in a single model.

    Friction is a type of contact force which a ressitance is offered against movement. friction are of three types. Static Friction, Rolling Friction and Sliding Friction

The friction experienced by a body at rest is called static friction. The friction experinced by a rolling body is called rolling friction. The friction experienced by a sliding body is called sliding friction.

Objectives of the Model

• To make a clear understanding about friction and types of friction 
• to help the students able to differetiate the difference in different types of friction and about its magnitudes

About the Model

    

        The model is made on  a cardboard which was divided into four small compartments. the puzzle is student has to find effect of friction of a rough and smooth surface on four condition. they have provided enough arrangements for static, rolling and sliding for both smooth surface and rough surface. 

    students has to use thier procedural skills and develop and discover from thier own experience.  From this single piece of work., the learner can identify, compare, analyse and learn about friction and its types.
